By Train From Manhattan
Penn Station LIRR Hempstead Branch to Nassau Boulevard Station. Check http://lirr42.mta.info/index.asp for specific schedules. Change in Jamaica is usually necessary.
By Car From The West
Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 34 or the Grand Central Parkway to Exit 26. Both bring you by the exit (right turn) onto New Hyde Park Road. Continue south on New Hyde Park Road across Union Turnpike, Hillside Avenue and Jericho Turnpike (a couple of miles). Soon after Jericho Turnpike, you will cross LIRR grade crossings. Cross and take immediate left fork ( Clinch Avenue ) to first traffic light ( Stewart Avenue ). Turn left on Stewart and proceed to 4th traffic light which is Whitehall Blvd. Turn left and park on the street by the church.
By Car From The East
Take the Long Island Expressway west to Exit 39S or Northern State Parkway to Exit 30SA which is Glen Cove Road . Turn right (south) on Glen Cove Road crossing Jericho Turnpike and Old Country Road and continuing to Stewart Avenue (School will be on left and a church on right at that intersection). Make the turn onto Stewart with the grass center (not the sharp right in front of the church). Continue west on Stewart to the 3rd light then making right, left, left and right turns around the hotel-apartment square and continue on Stewart to third light after the square which will be Whitehall Boulevard. Turn right onto Whitehall and park by the church.
Or
Take the Southern State Parkway to Exit 17 north. Turn right off ramp and turn left at second light onto Nassau Boulevard keeping the park on your right. Proceed about two miles along Nassau Boulevard crossing over Hempstead Turnpike and Long Island Railroad tracks. Turn right at next light (the corner of Stewart Avenue and Nassau Boulevard . Turn left at the first light you come to on Stewart Avenue which is Whitehall Boulevard . The church is on the corner...you can't miss it. Park on Whitehall Boulevard.
