On March 1, the Metro Association hosted a Financial Workshop led by Mr. Jason Labate, a partner at Goldstein Hall (which specializes in nonprofit development with community and faith-based organizations) and Rev. Karim Camara, a member of the Metro Association Board.

The Session Covered

    • Creating 501(c)(3) entities to pursue grant funding and local government resources.

    • Exploring church property reimagination and identifying funding sources for building improvements.

    • Strategies for financial sustainability.

This session offered practical insights into property redevelopment, capital fundraising, and values-based investing—tools to help our congregations grow missionally and steward resources faithfully.
